The Customer Service represents the contact point between QUID Informatica and the Clients, providing assistance in relation to:
- telecommunication infrastructures
- implemented technologies (Hardware and Software)
- management applications (standard and ad-hoc projects)
The Service is managed by the QUID Customer Service that takes care of receiving the Customer’s needs and tracing the complete flow of each assistance call, through its own Trouble Ticketing system.
Each support request is identified by a unique number that is communicated to the Customer and through which the follow up can be verified.
The remote assistance service offered by Quid Informatica S.p.a. (from now on Quid), makes use of third party software used by the company to provide remote support to its customers. Quid makes no warranties about the software used, even in terms of privacy, and will not be responsible for any malfunctions caused by it on the Customer’s computer.
Installation or otherwise use of such products, as well as acceptance of Quid’s request for remote connection, is under the sole responsibility of the Customer, who authorizes Quid to access his or her computer and any data on it that is necessary to access in order to perform the activity.
The Customer understands and agrees that by using such products, Quid will have temporary remote control of the Customer’s computer in order to verify and attempt to resolve the reported problem by taking all necessary measures to ensure confidentiality in accordance with the provisions of EU Regulation 679/2016 (GDPR). The Customer has the possibility to visually follow in real time the actions performed by the Quid technician and, in case he finds performance or other problems, he can at any time ask to suspend the activity and interrupt the remote connection.
The Customer understands and agrees that Quid shall in no event be liable for any direct or indirect damages whatsoever, regardless of cause or attribution of liability (including, without limitation, damages for loss of income or revenue, loss of privacy, loss of use of any computer or software, business interruption, loss of business information or other pecuniary loss), arising out of the remote assistance activity.
